    Big Man

Curvaceous Susan Taylor, Mindy's rival from high school, meets Mork at the music store and disdainfully brushes him off until she learns that he lives with Mindy. She does an abrupt turnabout and arranges to pick him up for a date that night. Mindy, green-eyed with jealousy, goes too. Susan then invites Mork to dine at her place by candlelight, unaware that Mork lives in terror of a sacred flame that heralds the arrival of Volgar the Enforcer on planet Ork.

  • Mindy

It's just not fair that I go out tonight and you have to stay here all alone. Remember, you can learn something from everybody you meet here on Earth.

  • Mork

That's very true. The garbage man today taught me never to lie on the curb on pickup day.

  • Mindy

Mork, what were you doing lying on the curb?

  • Mork

Well, I was watching some ants mug a grasshopper when he came by.

  • Mindy

And I suppose you're going to tell me the garbage man picked you up and threw you into the truck?

  • Mork

No, he said he couldn't do that unless I was tied and bundled.

  • Mindy

Telling a joke is a crime on Ork?

  • Mork

Only if it gets a laugh.
