Hi, all! I'm SueAnn. I'm about Robin's age - little younger - and I too have had my aortic valve replaced. I had mine done when I was a mere 29 years old and I'm still here so the prognosis for Robin is excellent. I tried really hard before his surgery to recommend the Cleveland Clinic as a hospital to him. I doubt if my emails got through so I was ecstatic to hear that that is where he ended up. Also glad to hear he is doing well. He will still need time and prayers to heal completely...until then...peace.

Do you have to revisit the hospital often to check if everything's still ok?

I only have to see my cardiologist once a year and have a CT scan at that time to make sure all the parts are still in working order.

Do you know if Robin got a pig valve or a mechanical valve?

Gooood Morning laughter seeekers and thong lovers.
It seems funny to have a slow chat topic on a RW website when every thing he does is at an ephemeral speed resembling something on speed or whiz.
Its fandabbydozy to have logons from different countries, its interesting to see how humour is well travelled.
Is there any part of the world where his humour would not go down well? thats not a euphemism by the way.
I imagine in North Korea there would be a problem with commy jokes?

A socialist, a capitalist and a North Korean agreed to meet.
The socialist was late. 'Excuse me for being late, I was standing in a queue for a chicken.'
what is a queue?' the capitalist asked, what is a chicken?' the North Korean asked.

I mean would this offend a Communist or a North Korean, chickens of the world or even veggies?
