Don't expect a EU/UK release for World's Greatest Dad. I spoke with the US distributor and even though they're not in charge of releasing the film outside of the US, they couldn't tell much. And usually, a distributor should've been attached by now. But who knows, maybe the film will do great in the US, some distributor may find out about it and get the rights to release it here. You can never tell, until the film has been released on DVD.

Don't say too loud you recorded the film on DVD crystal ;).

I don't mind you put it up there :) It's just that you have to be careful these days. Also, I hope that you and whoever gets a copy, goes out and purchases the official DVD. ;)

I should have started a petition or something to get it over here....that's two Robin movies down now and i'm gonna start darn praying that Old Dogs gets a release because if it don't the UK distrubuters can expect some very not nice emails from me that's for sure.....if they can buy some crud that bombs over here they can darn well pick up Old Dogs at least because that won't bomb for definate...you can tell by the trailer. :D

Old Dogs will most likely be released in the UK.

The other 2 films are independent, small films, so the fact that one of them gets an international release is kinda rare. It's not that the UK industry is that bad, it's just not the kinda film that get picked up by international distributors in general. But still, I understand the frustration. Living in Europe and not being able to watch all his films on the big screens is really annoying.

Oh yes it's alot of fustration, especially since the UK likes to brag alot about preferring independant film making to that of major big screen productions.....still it's a business i guess and one that can often make the wrong kind of decisions sometimes. :D

Sadly for us if it isn't Harry Potter it don't get much of a look in....one series of films that has slowly been driving me mad... :D

Nice!
I don't have the DVD yet. Waiting for the price to drop, haha. I've seen the movie twice and really liked it, btu I'm too busy to watch any movie these upcoming few weeks, so I'm not thát axious to get it. But, this month I'll probably place my order (including the soundtrack for World's Greatest Dad)

W00t, just purchased the DVD (and WGD soundtrack). Will have to wait for them though while they're huffing and puffing trying to get across the atlantic :( Looking forward to receiving it and watching the film with the director's commentary. I always love that as an extra feature.
