That is forever like over a year away. Oh well that is show business! But I will still see it,

Why was the release date pushed back. Is that telling us the quality of the movie?

This is all the info I have:
Though shot in the summer and fall of 2007, the film is not scheduled to open until November 25, 2009, a big delay from its original date of April 10, 2009. It is not yet clear if this broad comedy will be released under the Disney or Touchstone banner
-source Disney-

Ow, also, there's been a screening of the film recently and maybe it needs so much work that it'll take another year to release it. I don't know...

Maybe the hold up is they had to do a few re-takes of some of the scenes a few months ago so it may have set the film back a bit to re-edit or what ever else they need to do or maybe some of the crew working on the film has already started another project and they have to wait for them to finish the new project before they can go back and finish. OOOOH I bet I know why!!! November 25th is Thanksgiving week!(alot of peolpe are on vacation that week) great marketing move! thats ONE of the best times of the year for the studio to release a film! :D

I can't wait for this film to be released, watching a Robin film at the cinema is just awesome and with John Travolta too another great actor! :)

As of now the release date for the UK is March 05, 2010. Not sure if that's correct, it could be a DVD release date, but for such a big film that'd be a little to early.
