RWF in the Media!

Whohoo, the site is now starting to make appearances in the media.

There's a book about UK comedians being published soon and they enclosed a chapter about US comedians. There's a profile for Robin in there and they also mention RWF :). Will add info about that book here soon.

That's cool. Just as I said, you and this fansite are making reputations. I think you will become an important factor in RW's career someday, and that's really good.

Oh no, not even close.
I don't think I'll come much closer than making a difference for his fans, but for him and his carreer this site doesn't matter at all.
But it's great that other media resources are now using this site as a reference and resource.

Hmm, not really in the media, but the site is listed under the performers' blogs on the official USO tour. The other performers have either their official site or own blog listed, but since Robin doesn't have any (ok, he has an official site, but we can forget about that one by now).
Pretty cool :)

Wow, I'm gonna revive another old topic.

I recently did an interview with a freelance writer. The article is published yesterday (sept 26, 2008)

That's great. "Another assumption is that Linda is based in the United States and English is her native language": lol, I laughed so hard at that. I don't know why though
Why would you say "email" while there is this forum right here? Weird.
Wonder how the "official site" is doing... *peeking at it with evil smile*

Thnx, scott!
Not sure where I mentioned that, but sometimes people feel more confortable sending an email instead of posting stuff on the forum. And people should know that it's not a bother to email or PM me...

I think the official site is doing pretty good really. They've added some photos and a video and there's the online shop.
Personally I just think that it's not the a very well designed website and the fact that they use so many other site to spread material comes off as a bit unprofessional. But overall I think it's great there finally is stuff coming available from official sources.
One thing though, it isn't always properly updated, which is kinda of a bother, since it upsets people. Like the links to the Vancouver tickets didn't appear till 2 days after the sale had started. Of course, the tickets were sold out by the time the links were added to the site.

Nice to see deserved exposure and Linda I disagree with you about helping Robin because by helping his fans you are helping him.I've noticed in England his movies are reaching a whole new audience and where will they go to learn more? Here and this fantastic fantastic website and as such watch more of his films when they come out making him more succesful. Granted he doesn't need too much mroe given his immense success already but this website plays a huge part and it does help.Well I think

Keep up the excellent work :D

Googled the site a bit today and came across this site: http://www.brandingyp.com/2009/03/robin-williams-golden-globe-grammy.html
The site is mentioned :).

Fans established Robin-Williams.net to provide the latest updates and buzz about Robin Williams including tours schedule.
