God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. God, please put your arm around my shoulder and your hand across my mouth.

Dear Mr. Williams,

As one of your neighbors in the Bay Area, one of your fans (but not a psycho one) and also a person with 20 years of sobriety, I would like to remind you that you are supported. What you have taken back you must give up again. You are not in control. You will never be in control. God always must be in control. It's the only way.

Praying for a quick recovery!

Blessings...

As a person with only 3 days sobriety, I am glad that Robin has taken the giant leap to regain his sobriety.

Wish him only the best, my thoughts are with him!

robin,

your Mum would be proud of you for recognising that there was a problem and seeking out the right help,

(I remember seeing you and your Mum on TV once, she was telling you that a whoopie cushion works best when there was just a little bit of water in it. It made me laugh.)

take some time to do some robin things,

bless you my funny, furry friend

Robin,

You're a very strong man, and with the support of your family, friends, and fans, you'll get through it. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You've helped me through my deep depression stage, and there is no way that I'm leaving your side because you're in rehab. You can do it! Just think happy thoughts.

You know I used to think all the cute little sayings were dumb, now after a few 24 hour periods I am convinced many times they saved my ass. Robin if you ever read this, god bless you and you are in my prayers tonight.

have a great sobriety!

Robin, your drink again is just a symptom. You need to address the root. God loves you, your family loves you, and we love you. You inspire people to live decent lives. Time to go thru some growing pains again.
Believe you me
You have a disease that wants you dead

When all else fails. Go out and help someone.

If I could carry your cross for you I would.

We will all carry you if need be.

Love

Hi my friend just told me that Robin went into rehab. I am shocked. But not surprised. Back in the late seventies and early eighties he had a problem with cocaine and alcohal.

So what's going on? Is he working too hard? Does he need a break? Is he upset that he hasn't had a hit movie in years? Is he upset because his friends Chris and Dana have died? Who knows.

All I can do is say I hope he gets the help he needs. I really hope he can turn his life around. I will support him as much as a fan can. I really feel for him. I was really happy that he had given up the drinking and the drugs back in 1983 (without rehab) He was so strong. He would just drink less and less to get himself off the stuff. I throught of using his method to get off junk food. (I am always trying to loose weight. I have and I am not too fat but still need to loose) I never really did though.

I really wish I could say more, but I can't find anymore words.

treatment for drinking

Postby Mariah on Thu Aug 10, 2006 4:56 am

:D Dear Robin, Your timing to address your drinking, seems to me, a support on your part for the unforgivable treatment of Mel Gibson. It's not our business (fans) to judge anyone, never mind the people who entertain us as much as you and Mel. This may be a false perception on my part, but I think I'm right.
Love Ya,
