Is anyone gonna watch or listen that?!
I'll try to, I hope I don't fall asleep. It start 7PM ET, which means 1AM here. I'll try to create an audio file of Robin's "speech". If it works out it'll be available on the site on sunday the 18th.
I just read the list of upcoming musicians and readers in order of appeareance and Robin comes right after Paul Simon. (Robin is the 14th performer out of 36).

Laterz all! And remember,

Keep laughing!

Hmm, I haven't been able to edit the audio file I created yet. I just pressed record when I knew Robin was coming up, so the first 23 seconds should be ignored, just like the last 5 seconds.

Anyway, I put it online. So, enjoy :)

Robin used some material he did during the "rehearsals" in San Francisco and during his Vegas show last year. The "for the view" thing comes from there. The hurricane names as well, which he also used in the Ellen degeneres show last year in october.
In the end it turned out to be a great performance. I think it was a lot better than his Oscar presentation in march 2004. Whatever....
