I would love to meet Robin! Ever since I saw him back in Octber, and read up about him on stuff I've never knew before, and read from other fans how nice he is, makes me want to meet him even more. I love hearing when other fans got to meet their favorite celebrity!! Especially when you see them either at the movies, a restaurant, in a store, etc. I love the opportunity to meet celebrities!! I haven't met a lot. But back in 85, I went on a field trip to the training camp of the chicago bears, and we watched them practice. When they were done, some of them came over for pictures and autographs. That was cool! I met Huey Lewis (very nice), his lead guitar player and drummer, who were also very nice. I also met Donny Osmond a few times after seeing him in "Joseph," and after a few of his concerts. He also reminds me of Robin. He takes time to spend with the fans and is very down-to-earth! I find it exciting to meet a celebrity. Especially if their nice. The ones who have their noses in the air, I wouldn't even bother crossing the street to get a closer look.

When I wanted to wait by the stage door after one of Donny's concerts, my sister told me that she's "not into the 'groopie' thing." It's so not a 'groopie' thing!! I just find it exciting! I remember watching Oprah back in the mid 80's, and the topic was "how to talk to a celebrity." The guy on there said, "don't tell them how many posters you have, or how many records you have of theirs, because they hear that all the time. Just talk to them like you would your neighbor." And I do that. I will tell them, how good of a job they did, and I make sure I tell them to "keep up the great work."
What do you call it when you see a man with his hand stuck in a horses ass? An amish mechanic. Robin Williams

That's excellent advice. My mom used to say much the same thing. Her comment was, "Whether you're famous or obscure, you put your pants on one leg at a time." :)
