Thanks Linda for the heads up. My DVR is set to record RW tonight.

God, I missed Robin's appearance on that show. I got home around 11:30 from "Happy Days" and was so tired. Will that show be repeated? I never saw Robin on Craig Ferguson's show. (But I once saw Craig Ferguson do a one person skit where he played Prince Charles and he was funny.)

I can make a copy for you Charlene, I can either put it on a VHS tape or a DVD for you. Let me know.

I haven't seen it either (yet), but I'm sure a download will pop up somewhere or it'll be available on the official site (of the late late show, not RW's official site)

I watched the entire clip, and not once did I laugh, smile or chuckle. I'm convinced that RW takes over a show with his frenetic style so that he won't have to answer honest, serious questions. In other words, he's not comfortable in his own skin. He's out of breath by the end of the "interview" and you know nothing more than when he started. Think about it: By the time his appearance is over, all you've seen him do is a bunch of accents, make some jokes about one part of his anatomy, and "learned (which you already knew)" that he's on tour. Moreover, I think that when RW comes on a show, people are primed to laugh, so he could pretty much say anything. He is a highly-paid, sad clown.

That was great!
I'm going to forgive Robin for doing the classic American thing about forgetting England and Scotland are separate countries though as I know he is far too clever to not be aware of that. Scotland's in Britain not England (for better or worse depending on who you're talking to)!!!

Spoken like someone with an extremely limited view. Do yourself a favor and go to his show. You'll be the one out of breath from laughing.

Let me get this straight--because I fail to recognize Robin Williams' humor, I have a limited view? Please...there are plenty of people on the planet who find him less than funny. I've met him--more than once. That has nothing to do, however, with the fact that I don't find his humor funny. I am in good company with lots of others who find his constant (and repeated) talk of his genitalia, his divorce, his drinking, etc., tiresome. If that means that I have a limited view (by your standard), then, so be it.

Hey hey, now, now. It's OK if you have trouble finding his humor funny. I'm not a native English speaker and have a hard time registering his on-stage humor as well, although my case is a little different from yours - it's mostly a language barrier. That doesn't make you less of a fan of RW, though. You might just have more insight on his movies, and the admiration of those movies might be the reason why you're on this site. K? K.

I can't. It's too bad but I have too many tasks at hand to deal with now that I'm living alone. I guess this was unexpected. My "minor" reason is that I've just started driving recently and I'm likely to get lost if I decide to drive somewhere that far away from home (from Dallas to my house is about an hour). My apologies for the disappointment
How about you?
