'Angriest Man in Brooklyn' picked up for distribution

November 12, 2013

Lionsgate has acquired The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, a film starring Robin as a man who finds out he only has 90 minutes to live.

Lionsgate is planning a day and date theatrical/VOD specialty release, according to the announcement.
"We are thrilled that Lionsgate has come aboard for The Angriest Man in Brooklyn," says Robinson (director of the film). "The film features incredible performances by Robin and Mila and a great supporting cast. We cannot wait to share it with audiences across the country. The film pushes us all to face the hypothetical question, "What is important in your life? What is important to you?"

Quite a number of companies have been involved in making this film a reality:
Landscape Entertainment’s Bob Cooper and Tyler Mitchell produced the film with Daniel J. Walker of Force Majeure. The film was financed by MICA Entertainment and Vedette Finance. Cargo Entertainment is handling foreign sales; WME brokered the domestic deal.
